Topic: “Utilizing Social Technology to be better than your best!”
About the Speakers:
Rusty Abston, Vice President of Technology, Webs 4 Inc.
With over 14 years of experience in web technologies, Rusty has had the
opportunity to see the vast impact incorporating technology into a business can
have. He has turned his interest in computers and the internet into an
opportunity to develop a tool to help wedding professionals more effectively
manage their businesses. From envisioning the “look and feel” for
business websites to developing the requirements for management solutions, he
has a talent for both the aesthetic and technical side of web based
technology. His background includes website development, data center
management for large corporations, .net development and web services. He
also had experience in managing enterprise systems such as SAP and IBM AS400
technologies. Rusty, one of the founders of Webs 4 Inc, has been involved
with the development of the WedPro tool since its inception in
2005.
Clarissa Hamilton, Vice President, Webs 4 Inc.
Clarissa Hamilton is one of the primary founders of the newly formed Webs 4
Inc. (DBA: Webs 4 Weddings) started her career in the early 90’s as a
Designer. Her interest in the art of relationships very quickly lead her
to more of a sales and customer service type role. For over 15 years she
worked for Fortune 500 companies providing services to the public as a Sales
Representative, Marketing Director, VP of Sales, and eventually as
President/CEO of her own company taking it from a small start-up to a 32
million dollar operation employing over 500. She always played an
active role within the industry serving on several committees and as President
of the National Technical Services Association. Over that 15 year period
she received numerous Fastest Growing Business awards and the Small Business
Women of the Year award from the Chamber of Commerce. A common theme in
all her work is the desire to create and provide services that enable her
business partners, staff, and clients to experience success beyond expectation
with the ultimate goal of developing long-term beneficial relationships.
Her personal mission with Webs 4 Weddings is to ensure that the Wedding
Professional, looking to be the best, has the management tool that allows every
aspect of their business to be at the forefront of technology and the ability
to take their business and relationships to unbelievable heights.
