The Buena Vista Palace Hotel & Spa will host our 4th Annual “SHOWERS OF HAPPINESS” luncheon to benefit Habitat for Humanity Orlando. This festive shower will showcase their culinary talent and wonderful event and convention space at the Buena Vista Palace. The Buena Vista Palace will take us to their rooftop venue 20Seven which has breathtaking views of Downtown Disney.

We are proud to host our fourth luncheon for charity! We are throwing a Shower to benefit Habitat for Humanity, and are collecting ‘shower gifts’ to help furnish new homes for families! Habitat for Humanity’s mission is to enhance lives by building homes, strengthening neighborhoods and improving our community. We can help by providing a few items the families can use in their newly built homes.

Suggested gifts:

1. Small appliances (coffeemaker, toaster) and electronics (emergency radio)

2.  Tax Deductible Monetary Donation (cash or check – a receipt will be provided at the luncheon by the representative attending on behalf of Habitat Orlando)

As of Friday, April 30, 2010, ABC is pleased to announce a partnership with the world’s first “wedding wish granting organization”, California based Wish Upon a Wedding. Founded by ABC member Ms. Liz Guthrie and ABC celebrity wedding designer and WUW President Ms. Sasha Souza, WUW’s goal is to design and donate special weddings to couples where one has a terminal diagnosis of less than 36 months.

By relying on the generosity of wedding and hospitality vendors, known as Wish Granters, Wish Upon a Wedding is able to provide all the goods and services needed to produce these memorable occasions.

ABC-Florida’s 5th Annual Conference Scholarship. For the past 4 years ABC-Florida has provided a scholarship to ABC?s Annual conference in an effort to ?pay it forward. But there is one little caveat. If there aren’t at least 10 applications, it will not be awarded. Why wouldn’t you apply to have your registration covered to attend Annual Conference?
